Who am I—and how can I help you?
My name is Claes Göransson, and I know what it feels like to live with long-term pain. As a teenager, my body started pushing back, and pain and rehab became part of everyday life. When I was forced to end my elite sports career at the age of 21, new injuries appeared—and over the years, they only got worse. That led to a relentless ten-year search to get my body back on track. I tried everything—from physiotherapists, naprapaths, doctors, and chiropractors to psychologists, homeopaths, Functional Patterns practitioners, and kinesiologists, both in Sweden and the United States.
That journey led me to specialise in injuries, injury prevention, physical and mental training, and nutrition. I also trained in the U.S. and studied anatomy through the physiotherapy programme at Lund University. But the biggest breakthrough came when I trained as an Optimum Trainer and Optimum Coach at Optimum Academy. There, I deepened my understanding of both injuries and how the body truly functions—and I finally found answers to my own long-standing issues, along with clarity on what I could have done differently as early as age 15.
Today, I help people living with pain regain proper posture, muscle balance, function, and strength—whether they’re elite athletes or everyday people dealing with chronic pain.
My body is dramatically better today, but my interest in the body continues. I’m constantly continuing my education to stay up to date with what truly works for our bodies.
